Privacy
Last updated: October 13, 2026.
Kingston Web Design is a small, static website with no login system, no cookies beyond what the hosting provider sets to serve the page, and no advertising or cross-site tracking. This page explains, plainly, what little data does pass through.
What's collected
- Standard hosting logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) kept for security and performance by the hosting provider, not shared or sold.
- No account creation, no cookies beyond what the hosting provider sets to serve the page, no tracking pixels, and no third-party embeds apart from the Cloudflare Turnstile check on the newsletter and contact forms.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which the hosting provider adds to these pages to count visits. It records page views, referrers, countries and page load times without cookies, and it doesn't build profiles of individual visitors.
- If that ever changes, this page will be updated before anything new goes live.
Search Console
I use Google Search Console to see how this site shows up in Google search, such as which searches bring people here and which pages appear. It reports on search results, not on what you do on the site, and it doesn't place anything in your browser.
Newsletter signup
The newsletter form at /newsletter/ and the contact form at /contact/ are the only places this site collects anything, and they are the exception to any line on this page that says the site collects nothing. If you use it, I store your email address, which site you signed up on, the time, the wording of the consent you saw, your country, your IP address and your browser type. That record lives in a database at Cloudflare. I keep it because Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) means I have to be able to show that you asked to hear from me. To check that you're a person, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a short check in your browser. I use your address only to send this site's newsletter, and I don't sell it or share it. Every message will have an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me at hello@kingstonwebdesigner.com to delete your address and the record at any time.
Contact form
The contact form at /contact/ is the second place this site collects anything, after the newsletter. If you use it, I store the message you write, your email address, your name and business name if you gave them, the size you picked and your website address if you added them, the page you wrote from, the time, your country, and which wording you saw beside the form. I don't store your IP address or browser type with the message. The form runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to confirm you're a person, which uses your IP address for that check and for a per-hour limit on how often one connection can send. The limit keeps only a scrambled version of the address and no message. The message lives in a private database at Cloudflare, and I use it only to reply to you. It isn't added to a mailing list, and I don't sell it or share it. You can ask me at hello@kingstonwebdesigner.com to delete your message at any time.
Booking a call
The “book a call” link goes to Cal.com, a scheduling service, and any details you give there are handled under Cal.com's own privacy practices, not this site's. This site receives nothing from it.
If you email us
Messages sent to hello@kingstonwebdesigner.com are used only to reply to you. They aren't added to a mailing list or shared with anyone else. Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), sending an email is your consent for us to use its contents to respond to you, and nothing more.
Questions
Contact hello@kingstonwebdesigner.com any time.
I reply within one business day.
Phone and email links
When you tap a phone number or email link on this site, the site keeps a count of it: which kind of link (phone or email) and which page, added to a daily total. It stores no cookie, no IP address, no device details and no time of day, so a count can't be tied back to you.
