Website design for Amherstview businesses

New subdivisions have been going up here for years, and every new household is a fresh search for a plumber, a dentist, a landscaper, or a daycare, a search that didn't exist a decade ago because the house wasn't built yet. The problem is Kingston's search results don't know the difference: most sites and directories still lump Amherstview and Loyalist Township in with the city next door, so a fast-growing, close-in market gets treated like an afterthought instead of the opportunity it actually is.

Growing fast means you can get out in front

That's the actual opportunity here. A good chunk of Amherstview businesses are still running on a Facebook page, or whatever got thrown together when they first opened. Show up with your hours, your service area, and a working way to book you, and you win the search before the phone even rings.

Starter fits most of this town

A new subdivision doesn't need a five-page brochure site, it needs a working front door: what you do, where you cover, and a clear way to reach you. Most Amherstview businesses only need Starter. Grow is worth the step up once you're covering more than one service or drawing customers from more than one part of the township.

Kingston is close, but a website for Amherstview should say Amherstview

Loyalist Township is its own municipality, and a site that only ever says "Kingston" competes in a much bigger pond than it needs to. Say Amherstview, say Bath Road, say Loyalist Township, wherever your customers actually are, and let the search engine put you in front of the people who are ten minutes away instead of the whole city.

This town already has its own landmarks

Fairfield House, the 1793 museum on the lakeshore in Fairfield Park, and the Henderson Recreation Centre, with its library, pool and arena, are places an Amherstview resident already searches by name. So is the Main Street strip and Loyalist Cove Marina. A site that mentions the township by name, not just "serving the Kingston area," reads as a business that's actually here rather than one that copy-pasted a bigger city's page.

The Loyalist Business Association runs a directory covering Amherstview, Odessa, and Bath. Getting your site listed there, alongside Google, is worth doing on its own, whether or not you build with me.
